Youthcentres and youth clubs
Youth centres and youth clubs are excellent places to meet people of your own age as well as being able to play a variety of sports, and going on outings or just having someone to talk to. In some you have access to the internet and are able to make your own music. See below to find one close to you:

The Tumbler youth centre provides a range of
services for young people aged between 13-25. There is a cafe & lounge
to chill out in, music & drama workshops, dance classes, advice and
information on a range of issues including sexual health, drugs,
careers. There is also an IT training suite and mother and toddler
groups for teenage mums. For further details about the current

Also based at the Tumbler is a support service for young people who have
been effected by crime in any form. For one-to-one advice and activities
drop-in to the centre of Friday afternoons between 2pm and 6pm or call
to speak to Louise Holdsworth.
The YMCA provides accommodation to those aged between 18-35, who have
low to medium support needs and have been referred to the YMCA by their
local housing authority.
